MEA's Operations Conferences, held in Ames, Iowa (gas) and in Springfield, Illinois (electric), focuses on front-line operations personnel: gas and electric crews, foreman, supervisors, managers and directors. 2010 marks the 87th year for the Gas Operations Conference and the 11th year for the Electric Operations Conference. In addition, professionals in Purchasing & Materials Management will hold their Annual Roundtable during portions of the Electric Operations Conference.
“As a distributor of equipment and materials to the utility industry, we find that there are literally dozens of trade shows and conferences that we can attend throughout the year. Without question, the MEA operations conference has proven to be the best value for our company time and time again. A key to it’s success is that member utilities develop the meeting content ensuring strong attendance by key personnel, which translates to quality contacts for our sales staff. This is a must show for us.”
