Damage Prevention - Virtual DIRT

This sesson was presented at the Gas Operations Conference on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Iowa State University, Ames, IA by Ron Peterson, NULCA.

The Damage Information Reporting Tool, DIRT, is a secure online database for collecting utility damage and near miss data. The Common Ground Alliance produces an annual report on the data submitted for industry use in an effort to reduce damages to the nation's infrastructure.
