This presentation is to give a quick overview of Ameren's substation journeyman and apprentice training. The apprentice training curriculum was written to address a need for competent and safe substation journeymen. Ameren also has an annual training class for their substation journeymen which addresses different topics every year. These topics are derived from the addition of new equipment, as well, as suggestions from union, management and engineering staff.
