ETA Original Question: An MEA Member is looking for a standard mutual assistance agreement. Does your company, state or region currently have a standardized agreement for mutual assistance in blowing gas emergencies between utilities?

If the operating company that we work adjoining with is not available or cannot be reached, we then will bring the blowing pressure down to a manageable level. In these instances it is usuallt always a frozen vent in the rural area, blowing out a 1 1/4 or 2" stack at anywhere from 100 to 700 psi. But these are lines we used to work with and people we used to work with, it is a unique type of situation. Brian
