Each year MEA presents an opportunity to a committed industry professional to increase and expand their leadership skills and knowledge, by becoming the Chair of the MEA Board of Directors. If all goes well they have a couple of years of on the job training, serving on the Executive Committee. Within most organizations they call it succession planning, in the volunteer world they call it career development and networking. MEA has had 104 such individuals serve as the Chair, for reference the directory, page 20 lists all 104.

Earnie Lehman		Anthony McCain

Because of rapid change taking place in our industry, two individuals; Earnie Lehman and Anthony McCain have exhibited real leadership to continue the mission of MEA. Without hesitation Earnie and Anthony both committed to filling the role of Chair a couple of years ahead of the on-the-job training schedule, for that I would like to say thank you to Earnie for making a contribution as Chair and making MEA a better association. Anthony we are looking forward to your leadership contribution as the Chair of MEA.
